Jeng Chi started in a smaller location in the same strip shopping center. It has now moved to a much larger place and therein lost some of its vibe. When I first visited the new location the food seemed to have lost its soul, but now giving them more than a year in their new space and the prices being raised, the food is back to its former greatness. I visit this place pretty much just for dumplings and the onion pancake. They offer a large menu but dumplings were their original claim to fame and I think that’s what they do best.
You can easily make a meal on the various flavors, some steamed and some boiled. It’s a no frills place but a good feast of flavor. We ordered way more than we could eat but it’ll give you a good sample of what to expect.

Thanks for your comment. I wouldn’t call it horrendous, just not the most professional. I had fairly good service this last visit but since they moved locations the quality of the staff has deteriorated and initially so had their food. I was delighted to find their food up to a better standard on my most recent visit and will be willing to go again sooner than the couple years I waited before this visit.
