One of my favorite stops in Copenhagen! This small but happening restaurant has its own gardens where they grow their produce and sources their meat and fish through dedicated local producers. This combo allows them to provide an amazing quality of food. The taste content is excellent. The menu has 5 offerings and you have the choice of either 3 or 5 courses with occasional additional course offerings.

We had the cheese off this additional menu. They also offer wine pairings which we took advantage of and the pourings were wonderfully paired and generous. Their bread was just the right amount of crusty and doughy and the onion butter was insanely delicious! Their carrots were the brightest and sweetest ever. In fact the color palate of their food was outstanding. The dried beef on top of the squid was a surprise as it wasn’t mentioned on the menu but it was quite tasty. The dessert was a perfect sweet ending. The service was casual, as was the whole restaurant, but attention to detail was not lost. Our server was very helpful and ended up chatting with us for a good while as we were one of the last tables to finish. If I had to find one fault it would be with the impossibly small napkin size – it just wouldn’t stay on the lap. I’ll forgive that in light of what a splendid experience we had here!
