A huge place that is really busy. It’s on the second floor of a pretty lame mall but the dim sum is well worth the trip.
What a delight this place was! Great service, incredible food and nice setting – easily my favorite meal in Vancouver. We started with some of their signature cocktails while we unwound from our tardy flight, which made us arrive directly from the airport with bags in tow. They were most accommodating as we called them from the Customs line.
This restaurant came with high recommendations from the various Vancouver publications as well as several well known chat groups/blogs. I’d say it needs some tweaking to be worthy of that praise. It’s located in the Rosewood Hotel which was totally convenient since we were staying there, but also brings with that some high expectations.
This is a hot reservation in Vancouver and it was buzzing the night we were there. The chef as well as other “quality control” people roam constantly from the dining room to the open kitchen. Our waiter was particularly fun and was eager to suggest other places we should go during our stay.
