Dairy-ette has been in business since the 1950s and is still run by the Prikryl family. It is a flash back in time with small booths, counter stools and car hop service. They are famous for their house made root beer which is dispensed from a keg into an ice cold mug and is thick and sweet. They also make fresh lemonade and limeade drinks and an assortment of malts and shakes with their soft serve ice cream. If you want less sweet try their iced tea, you can also get this sweet, but the nice refreshing tea in a cold mug actually has tea taste and is a winner.   Continue reading
