Clancy’s is another favorite of ours and so has appeared many times on this website, the last time about a year ago.  The menu is much smaller at lunch but we got to sit in the front room which is brighter and more festive during the holidays.  Reservations are a must as the place was packed by the time we finished.  The ambiance is another old school place with tuxedoed servers and white cloth-covered tables.  It’s outside the quarter and popular with locals and tourists.  Again here you have your favorites but there were subtle changes to the salad.  This is a first-rate staff that doesn’t rush you and is willing to bring items out individually for you to share.  We’ve found that’s a good way to try more things.  This is definitely a place that should be on your list to visit.
