A small place that seats several at the kitchen counter and a few tables along the wall, it is located in a former pizza spot and the signage was never changed. The chef has opened another place next door and both were buzzing and he moved between the two. Trois Mec does 2 seatings for a tasting only menu and they really move you through to make the turnover happen. We received several of our amuse bouche before the wine even arrived. The tasting has 4 savory courses and 2 sweets and an optional savory course is offered, which was the smoked eel our night. Everything was quite tasty with the tomato and smoked eel being standouts. The grilled corn was buttery and delicious but a little salty. I love rice pudding so that hit a nice mark with me but I didn’t care for the fresh hay in the bread basket. I found myself having to pick it out of the nice yeasty bread.
