A little neighborhood gem of a restaurant with hearty food of the region. The appetizers alone were enough to make a meal of but it did appear that the ‘locals’ had some other smaller options on the German menu. The fried chicken livers were hot, crisp and tasty especially with the moist potato salad.

The Tafelspitz is a dish of the region and this was a nice version with wonderful potatoes and a dish of sauce that was good on pretty much everything. The other dish they have here is a non-deep-fried schnitzel and instead offer a pan fried version served with rice and gravy. A very nice change! Nice service and inexpensive prices rounded out a lovely lunch!
