This is a hot ticket in SF right now taking few reservations and mostly seating those who line up each night. One amazing part of that is that there is now outside sign nor street number to mark the place, just the window into the kitchen – but it seems to work. The premise is a “dim sum” like experience with a few items on the main menu and the rest are specials of the night passed around on trays and carts.

You pick or order what you want. Most are sized for sharing but many were sized for large tables which meant we had to leave a lot on plates in order to try enough things. Some interesting flavor combinations and few standouts like the pork riblets and tres leeches but some that fell short like the duck pancake and cauliflower. It’s a fun concept and all the servers were very friendly but I think it’ll need some tweaking to make the hype last.
