NoMad Restaurant is located in, where else, the NoMad Hotel. It definitely was not just for hotel guests though as the room for lunch was filled with business dealings, lady shoppers, and couples looking for a quiet and tasty retreat. It offers a small menu at lunch but everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented.

The staff were helpful and friendly. They start you off with the hot savory potato bread and you know you could make a meal of it alone. Dill was one of several herbs in the loaf and it made for a perfect tool to get the last tidbit on your plate! The tomatoes and peaches were high season and very colorful and made a nice contrast with the crisp almonds. The chicken is for two and the truffle, foie gras mixture is stuffed under the skin (which is served a perfect crisp). They keep the carcass to make sauce with the mushrooms which is served along side the breast meat. The dark pieces are sauced with mushrooms and they could be a meal in themselves. We were actually too full for dessert! A winner here!
