This is not the original location of Keller’s restaurant, but it is the one with indoor seating. The other location on Northwest Highway is carhop service only. This Garland Rd. location has a drive thru, patio and indoor seating but no carhops. Here there is a counter for you to place your order and they call your name or number when your order is ready for you to take to the table of your choice.

Both locations operate on the same menu and in my opinion the best way to go is with a #1 Special which is doublemeat, cheese, tomato and thousand island dressing and then I add grilled onions. It’s drippy and fun. The bun is covered with poppy seeds that cover your fingers and table top and thus I’m not as much a fan of eating it in my car. Another plus for this location is the condiment bar with some of the best sliced spicy pickles ever and large containers for your enjoyment of a endless cup filled with plain or sweet tea. We tried the tater tots as well as the fries and the tots won by a clear margin. Crisp with soft centers, just ask when you pick up your order for some “spiceitup” to go with it. It is a lightly flavored jalapeño ketchup that add just the right zing. You can also buy bottles of it to take with you at the order counter.
