Nata Lisboa was the third of the places we found where you could get freshly made, warm Pastel Nata (Portuguese custard tart). It was one of several restaurants with the same name. This one had a small interior with only table seating and a good sized patio with tables out front. While the tarts here could be had warm they were a small part of the large menu. The staff was friendly but the ambiance was off to me – it felt too much like a chain restaurant. Even though the tart was served warm there was no evidence of the tarts being made on site. The tart’s crust did not taste as buttery as the others we tried but the custard had a good consistency. These were my least favorite rendition and one I wouldn’t go back to.
