The Dutch sandwich was made with an extra portion of black forest ham, smoked gouda, red onion, tomatoes, pepperoncini, lettuce, mayo and honey mustard on a Dutch crunch roll. It’s a cold sandwich and unfortunately the bread was not very fresh. The filling had tasty ingredients but the poor quality bread ruined it.

The Daddy-O sandwich comes with an extra portion of hot pastrami, provolone, pepperoncini, mayo and spicy mustard on a toasted French roll. (I was trying to decide between that and the Jam that’s Cheezy and the counter person picked the Daddy-O). It was listed as a warm sandwich and it did come out warm with the cheese melty. This bread was much better and went nicely with the tasty ingredients. The mustard dominated the flavor profile and it was definitely the better of the two options. This one was fairly good.

Stale bread! No excuses.
Absolutely! And it ruined the sandwich. Surprisingly they had a rack inside selling breads.
If I order BBQ ribs with a side of mac and cheese, and the mac and cheese isn’t up to snuff, but the ribs are great, it’s not that big a deal. But when you order a sandwich, the bread is EVERYTHING! It’s the star of the dish! It’s what your bottom AND top teeth hit first! Unless it’s an open-faced sandwich but we’ll talk about that another day. So if the bread is stale, it doesn’t matter what’s inside, the dish is ruined!
Indeed! Thanks for your comment!
